For several years, Algonquin Adventure Tours has run private Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey programs, for small and large student groups, from around the globe. Get a group together (at least 4) or write to see if we can match you up with others. Our exceptional curriculum, superior equipment and top notch instructors ensure the adventurous journey of a lifetime. Please note we are not a TAP, so each participant must get advanced DOE approval for their adventurous journey.
Price (includes practice, training and qualifying journey; based on groups of 8 participants) Bronze (3 days total) - $599 + 13% tax per person Silver (5 days total) - $899 + 13% tax per person Gold (6 days total) - $1099 + 13% tax per person No pork or vegetarian is no problem. Vegan or gluten free - $30/bronze & $50/silver or gold. Rentals: Camera dry bag (10L) - $10/trip; Clothing dry bag (25L) - $20/trip. Gratuities are encouraged and not included in prices. When Private programs can be arranged any time. 4-32 people can be accommodated. Please contact us, preferably many months in advance, for further information. Where Tours meet by the picnic tables, next to the Ontario Parks permit office (not the nearby store), actually on the stony Canoe Lake beach(access point #5). Please look for our vans, canoes or uniformed guides with the Canadian flag logo. With limited space and rave reviews, our programs fill up quickly. So please make your reservations early. Why Us?
