11am-2pm Daily, as a private tour only, from January - March. Reservations are required. Please note that limited snow conditions will result in a guided hike. Where: Registered participants will meet our guide at Algonquin Park's west gate birch bark sign (participants need to purchase car permit here) and then proceed together to our tour access point (along highway 60). Price: (in Canadian dollars) $299 for up to 3 participants, plus 13% tax. $99 for each additional participant (up to 8 total). Snow shoes and lunch is included. Our most popular guided winter adventure, this private 3 hour winter adventure is perfect for beginners seeking an introduction to snowshoeing in Algonquin Provincial Park. After a brief orientation, we'll head out to explore the pristine beauty and inspiring winter scenery of Algonquin Park. Learn about local ecology, natural history, and wilderness skills! A hot beverage, and gourmet lunch from Henrietta's Pine Bakery is included. This tour is usually guided by, Stuart Lorne Letovsky, the Algonquin Adventure Tours founder.
