Algonquin Park Guided Trout & Bass Fishing Tours
Daily Private 4 hour Sunrise & Multiday Group Fishing Trips
Algonquin Adventure Tours' founder, Stuart Lorne Letovsky, has been fishing Algonquin Park waters since he started attending camp Arowhon, in 1981. Departing at sunrise (7am), with the morning mist, Stuart will take you to his preferred fishing spots and even teach you how to fish, Algonquin style.
This is an intimate adventure for one or two participants only. We use a canoe, with the smallest (2.5hp) outboard possible, and the latest, top quality, fishing gear. We usually fish for trout or bass, depending on the season and client desires. We offer spinning, baitcasting, spincasting, trolling and fly rigs, to handle all desires and skill levels. Our newly customized fishing canoe uses the latest electronic fish finding technology. And multiple cameras will document your big catch from every angle. Every tour begins with a delicious breakfast of Henrietta's pastries and fresh ground/brewed organic coffee.
Although we prefer to catch and release, Stuart is able to fry up your catch, right in the canoe.
Please note we can not make any catch guarantees, especially on a 4 hour day tour. That said, our success rate on these day tours is running at over 90%.
Our multiday fishing opportunities (4 day trip offers the most fishing time) offer an 90% success rate, but the fish tend to be larger, due to the more remote setting. Please note, canoe safaris are guided by our amazing staff. For information on our Algonquin Park multiday fishing trips, please see our guided canoe camping safari page.
Price: $299 + 13% tax per tour (1 to 2 participants only - same price either way). Larger groups must join our multiday group safaris.
When: Daily @ 7am, April 28 - September 30, 2018. Reservations are required.
Please see our calendar below for full/open dates - updated daily.
Where: Unless otherwise directed, fishing tours meet in Algonquin Provincial Park's west gate parking lot, next to large birch bark map of Algonquin, at 6:30am. Please look for our canoe or uniformed guide with the Canadian flag logo.
With limited space and rave reviews, our tours tend to fill up quickly. So please make your reservations early to avoid disappointment.
