Algonquin Park Guided Day Hike
What: A perfect wilderness adventure for birders and those who like exploring nature on foot,. During this 3.5 hour hike, your guide will teach about the history of Algonquin Park, area geography and the flora/fauna encountered along the trail. Total distance covered will be between 5-10km depending on group member fitness, weather and terrain. A trail meal will be served. Fresh berries can be picked in season.
The maximum size of our hiking groups is up to 6 participants. This intimate group size allows everyone to hear what the guide is saying and increases our opportunities to see wildlife. Please note that our guides can get fully booked in July/Aug, so please reserve early. Larger groups will require multiple guides.
Beginner to experienced. Trips are run, rain or shine. Reservations are required.
When: This adventure is only offered, on demand, from 7:30am-11am, for private and custom tours. Up to 5 people per group.
Where: Our hikes change location depending on season, participant ability and animal activity monitored by our tracker. Price: $299 + 13% HST for up to 3 participants. Minimum age requirement is 6 years old. Participants will need to purchase their car day permit at either entrance gate to the park.
